Chief Nursing Executive
Manager of Nursing Relations & Retention
Courtnay is the Chief Nurse Executive at Kaiser Permanente. She started as a nurse in the Special Care Nursery at Trios Health and eventually worked her way up to become the director of the Surgical Services and Surgical Pediatrics unit. Today she is an executive nurse leader and completed the AONL executive nurse fellowship.
Ashley is a Nurse Leader, Mentor and Coach who is passionate about helping nurses and nursing students create the results they want in their life and careers. Her background is in pediatric critical care, where she has held positions including Charge Nurse, Preceptor, Nurse Residency Facilitator, and Clinical Instructor. She currently works as the Manager of Nursing Relations and Retention at a hospital in Syracuse, NY, where she works to recruit, retain and recognize the nurses within the health system, and also oversees the Student Nurse Resource Pool program.
Ashley is certified as a pediatric and critical care nurse, and is also a trained personal and professional development educator. She graduated from an accelerated BSN program in 2015 and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Stony Brook University.
Sarah Gray, BSN, RN, is the Founding Nurse at San Francisco based healthcare startup, Trusted Health. A NJ native, she graduated from Penn Nursing and began her nursing career at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She brings to Trusted four years of clinical experience, leadership, and innovation as a Charge Nurse and Clinical Nurse III, Evidence Based Practice Fellow, and member of several hospital-wide committee boards.
At Trusted, she utilizes her clinical insight and passion to work with a team of innovators and entrepreneurs to fundamentally change how nurses manage their careers and solve for inefficiencies within healthcare staffing.
