Hello nurses! To honor and celebrate you during Nurses Week, we’ve put together a week chock-full of virtual events. These virtual events are meant to inspire, connect, and give you a bit of a breather from your day-to-day.
This Nurses Week event series is crafted for nurses of all kinds, so invite your nurse friends and family to virtually join us!
We could all use a little snail mail right now. Why? Handwritten notes spread love and gratitude.
Practicing gratitude can help combat fear, stress and anxiety and lettering is a calming, meditative activity. In this class, you'll learn basic lettering techniques and how to apply them to snail mail. Use your learnings as a nightly meditative exercise or to spread love to friends, family or anyone who needs it right now (aka everyone).
What materials would be helpful to bring?

Linda Xuan Nguyen is a self-taught lettering artist and snail mail fanatic based in Los Angeles, California. By day, you’ll find her working for Punkpost, doodling and illustrating greeting cards or working on their blog. By night, she’s writing letters to pen pals, selling vintage postage stamps on Etsy or custom envelope addressing her colorful designs on envelopes for wedding invitations, Bat Mitzvahs and holiday cards. She’s been living the creative life and making a career out of snail mail for the past three years and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Punkpost sends beautifully handwritten cards, mailed by artists for you. Customers place orders via the Punkpos iOS or online platform in the amount of time it takes to send a text. From there, one of our 100+ U.S.-based handwriting artists get to work, turning a typed message into a custom, handwritten design on the card of your choosing, and it’s in the mail within 24 hours. Punkpost is the dashboard for creating and managing happy moments. The first card is free and after that, they start at $7. For more info or to start sending love today, visit Punkpost.com, follow us @PunkpostCo or download the app for iOS.
